Private tour from Chiang Mai to Lumpang and Lamphun

08:30 Leave from the hotel in Chiangmai toward the southern part (90 kms). Along the way, stop the first tour at Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, This is one of the most dishy temples. The grounds are engaging and you can easily spend an hour wandering there, the old sacred Bodhi tree with its traditional props is a great spectacle.
The huge sagging branches are held up by long forked sticks, many beautifully decorated. You can find hundreds of these props, placed there above the years by the faithful. Also spectacular is the numbers of bull/cow sculptures, these are everywhere, mostly petite but some big, forming little crowds here and there.
Afterwards,Aptitude in Lampang City’s tourist, wats and markets by horse-cart riding. It is a sign of Lampang province.
Lampang City is called the Horse Cart City, so no visit would be complete not including a quick run about the city in one of its charming horse carriages.
Then drive to Lamphun. Construct a first stop on the principal wat of the province, Prathat Hariphunchai Temple, find the Lanna-style temple's 9th-century style and get a glimpse of the impressive gobbet of viharns (Buddhist monasteries) adorned in exquisite gold.
Stop at Chamdevi Temple. Seek advice from the largest of the two is a very peculiar sq. ‘stepped pyramid’ shaped pagoda. Wat Jam Devi created in the name of Queen Chama Devi, and wonder at the unusual, square-shaped stupa from the Dvaravati period that is rumoured to have the ashes of the queen.
On the way back to Chiang Mai pass the beautiful route along the tree-lined Chiangmai-Lamphun Road, for a distance of 12 kilometer as far as the Chiangmai Lamphun provincial boundary the street is lined by lofty 30-metre high yang trees, interspersed with fruit orchards, small farms and paddy fields.
